Roderick McGillis is a
Professor of English at the University of Calgary. He teaches a range
of courses from Children's Literature to Film History. He is the author
of such books as The Nimble Reader
(1996) and Les Pieds Devant
(2007). He has edited a number of books, including George MacDonald: Heritage and Heirs
(2007) and Voices of the Other
(1999). His book on B western films will be published in Spring 2009.
He has served as a judge for the Francelia Butler Conference twice
before, and visited Hollins University as Scholar-in-Residence in 2004.
