
Claudia Mills is the
author of over 40 books for young readers, including picture books (Ziggy’s Blue-Ribbon Day), easy
readers (the Gus and Grandpa books),
chapter books (7 x 9 = Trouble!;
Being Teddy Roosevelt), and
middle-grade novels (Makeovers by
Marcia; The Totally Made-Up
Civil War Diary of Amanda MacLeish).
She is Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Colorado at Boulder. In the summer of 2005 she was writer-in-residence at Hollins University.
